We’re thrilled to announce that Ride for Helen Essex will return for its 12th fantastic year on Sunday 10th May 2026 at the stunning Crix Estate, Hatfield Peverel — and this year is extra special, as we celebrate what would have been Helen Rollason’s 70th birthday year!
We want to make this bigger than ever, with the hope of 1,000 riders taking part in honour of Helen’s incredible legacy.
Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, there’s a route for everyone: our ever-popular 6-mile, Ed’s 15, 30, 50, 65, or 100-mile rides all take in the beautiful Essex countryside in spring.
