Great country pub in Broomfield with a very warm atmosphere. All of our food was cooked well, and I especially enjoyed the chicken and mushroom pie. If I had one criticism, the calamari wasn't as hot as I would have liked but aside from that, really good. There is an extensive dessert list with something for everyone.
I will definitely be returning!

We went to The Angel for my husband's birthday and had a fantastic meal. Everything was so tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Angel has a lovely atmosphere and is easy to relax into.

Me and my family came for lunch this Christmas Eve and were served by the amazing Nicola, she made us feel so comfortable and the service was great. Food is always amazing and the angel is always a lovely pub to visit no matter the time of year. Keep it up

We had such a great visit to The Angel—the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything we ordered was well-prepared and full of flavor, from the starters right through to dessert.
A special mention goes to Hayley, our server, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our meal. Her genuine warmth and great sense of humor really added to the experience—nothing was too much trouble for her.
Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful atmosphere, Nichola served our table her energy was positive, joyful and lifted up the Christmas spirit for our Xmas Eve meal. Such kind, helpful staff. The food on top of this amazing as always when we come here. Cozy pub, warm, inviting.
