Very well maintained gardens with plenty of landmarks ands what i presume is free to use facilities like the park and tennis court. People found their way into the court anyway. Dog friendly, family friendly, couples friendly, walking friendly. Ill come again when the museums open.

This park is family orientated. Good museum with a highly rated cafe. Tennis courts, 2 x children's play area, etc. You can still walk a dog, but the space is a little limited. There is a good amount of parking and toilets.

Nice open space ideal for dog walks. The kids playground is good here too. Some handy picnic benches if needed. Plenty of parking. The excellent free museum is well worth a look with some great exhibits on Marconi, military history, toys and animals.

First time to this park for decades but what a pleasure to return. It's hardly changed in years, needs a little love and time spent on it but the climbing apparatus was great and lots of castle themed activities to use your imagination with. My granddaughter loved it.

It may not be the biggest, but there are pretty sights of the park. Home to a museum, tennis courts, woody playgrounds, big spaces to play about & some small but calm artworks to make you happy.
