we went here this evening - service was 5* - very friendly staff and nothing to much trouble - very nice people ☺️ the food is the best Indian I have ever had - it was stunning - me my partner and our 2 children loved it all - even one of them who is fussy loved the chicken tandoori - atmosphere was very pleasant - we will be back here again with out a shadow of a doubt - Thank you indian Lounge 🤗

A group of friends and I had our first visit to Lounge India last week. The food was amazing, it was on another level to anything all 12 of us had ever experienced before. The service was excellent, they help you to choose and even customize dishes for you. I can honestly say that I for one won't go anywhere where else in future and are group are all ready planned our next trip.

The restaurant is very dark had to use my phone camera to read the menu.
The food was extremely sweet the waiter asked if everything was ok and I said honestly it both dishes were too sweet and the prawns were over cooked. His reply you ordered sweet dishes. A masala and Parthia ? Won’t be going back.

Definitely my favourite Indian Restaurant in Chelmsford. Food is great with a good choice of classics and unusual dishes. I had the Shatkora Lamb which was perfect. Great service and free parking.

Beautiful decor and fabulous service. Extensive menu choices. Delicious dishes, everything we ordered was really tasty and fresh. Have visited multiple times and always great. Would recommend a visit - ensure to book a table on a weekend as it gets very busy!
