I was in a hurry to find my perfect dress so I went to the shop by myself. Jules is absolutely lovely and exceptionally knowledgeable; she actually picked my dress! I thought I knew what I wanted but she made a suggestion that worked perfectly for me. I loved it and it fit like a glove!

I went to Grace and Lace at the end of May with my wedding being at the beginning of October the same year! I found my dream dress and they managed to order my dress in time for my wedding. It arrived at the shop just over a week before my wedding day and they got me in right away for alterations. They did the alterations within 1 day and I was back 2 days later to try my final dress on again! Absolutely amazing service, so quick and helpful. Every time I called they were able to help, advise and sort anything I asked. I also attended their shop in Colchester to try on the same dress but in the blush version and also try on some veils. The ladies there were so lovely and such a nice feel to the shop. So impressed with their service! It really helped that they do their own in house alterations as I didn’t have to worry about getting someone else to do it, especially in my tight time frame, they did it so quickly. They also offer to keep the dress in their shop until the day before your wedding day so that you don’t have to worry about storing it at home in the lead up to your wedding. Thank you ladies, I was so happy with my dress and felt like a real life princess!

The best wedding shop!
I visited Grace and Lace last year to try on wedding dresses and was lucky enough to say yes!
The girls were so helpful from start to finish and made me feel at ease! I tried a variety of dresses on and really valued their honesty. It really helped with narrowing down choices!
Grace and Lace were an absolute pleasure to work with and were so helpful and lovely throughout! From helping pick my dress to the alterations process. I cannot thank them enough.
My dress fit perfectly and really reflected my personality. I felt amazing on my wedding day and a big part of that I owe to Grace and Lace.
I would recommend the shop to anyone!

The second dress I ever tried on ended up being 'my' dress - Maggie Sottero Pernille (my brief was I wanted a dress that wasn't too heavy that I could dance in and just be me) . The ladies at Grace & Lace in Chelmsford were so lovely from the start, Ruth in particular was with me every step of the way - even when our wedding was postponed a year. I would definitely recommend Grace & Lace. My cathedral length veil was also purchased from the store :)

I had an appointment today at grace and lace and said yes to the dress! Jules was so helpful, kind and not pushy at all! I’m getting married in August so knew it would be quite tight time wise and had already been to a shop that morning but wasn’t 100% sure on the dress. We arrived early to the appointment and thankfully was allowed to come in slightly earlier, Jules asked me about my wedding day and what styles I’d previously tried etc! She was very attentive and I myself find it hard to look past certain things in dresses and see a final image but jules did everything she could to help me with that! So much so that a dress I put on and wasn’t sure about the bodice, ended up being my dress as we used a bit of fabric and jules pulled me in where she could so I could visualise as best as I could how it would look! I’m so excited and relieved that I have FINALLY found my dress!
Grace & Lace is a beautiful boutique and the experience was amazing! We had Prosecco and were allowed to take a look at all the dresses ! Would 100% recommend x
