Very clean, with friendly and attentive staff. Lack of Vegan options was a disappointment. Updated: Totally accept the chef and team did everything to accommodate us, and they did this extremely well, however still doesn't detract from the lack of options available for vegans who don't have any intolerances. If a meat or seafood eater would highly recommend.

Was nearby and came in for a quick late lunch/dinner.
Pub was very clean and nice looking. Very well decorated.
Ordered the cheese raclette for starters. The cheese was great but as a sharing starter I expected a bit more. Only a measly 2 slices of bread. Could have given some more bread even if it was cheap bread so I could dip all the cheese. In the end we decided to wait for our mains and perhaps dip our other things in the cheese. However it took a long time for our mains to arrive. For £15 not too thrilled to order again.
About an hour after ordering, the mains arrived. I ordered the slow cooked pork belly and my friend ordered the pie.
Pie was great but the mash and veggies that came with it felt a bit bland.
Pork belly and scallops was extremely well presented. Was a tiny piece, bit fatty but was perfectly cooked. The potatoes and veggies that came with it was OK. Scallops were seared perfectly and very good.
Overall, little expensive but decent place to dine. Food was a bit slow, I entered at 16:10 and left at 17:45. Waited very long for the food. Would not recommend the raclette. Needs a little more oomph for a shared starter in my opinion. Few more slices of bread would do the trick.
3 stars, if the raclette and timing of food was improved, it would definately be close to 5 stars.

Attended the restaurant on valentines night and the place was busy as expected. The staff were all very efficient and accommodating. Daisy was our main waitress and she was wonderful. Chatty friendly and very knowledgeable when asked questions about the food etc. Food was brought to our table in a timely manner, however the only issue was we had requests no scallops on one plate and unfortunately both were served without. This was rectified but for my husband he had already eaten his meal as they took longer than expected.
Overall a very nice dining experience

We regularly visit the George and Dragon and always enjoy our visit. Even if there are issues the staff always rectify this quickly. We were served by Maddie for this meal and she was very friendly and helpful, with great knowledge of gluten free. We will be returning soon.
