We had a first class experience at the Duke of wellington pub. We hired out the outside space ( see attached image) for our party of 50 people after our christening at nearby rivenhall.
The staff went above and beyond for us both before the event and during the event. They were very accommodating with our requests about food , decorations etc and although they were very busy on the day they kept these high standards up throughout.
We ordered the buffet food for our guests and everyone said how good the spread was with vegetarian options available to cater for all of our guests needs. The pub literally finished off our perfect day for our family and I can't thank them enough.

Went for the buffet menu for someone to have my gender reveal. Had the restaurant section to ourselves and they were happy for us to add some decoration! the food was amazing! Really good value for money the buffet was so worth it… and there was more than enough food to go round! All of the staff were really helpful! Would 100% recommend

Booked a buffet to celebrate with family and friends for our son's 50th birthday, and Julie ,the manager, and her team really done us proud. We were allocated our own private space in a beautiful area, and the food was delicious and beautiful presented .The staff were very professional, attentive, polite, and friendly. There are not enough good things to say to express how excellent the overall experience was. I can't thank Julie and her team enough for making our celebrations extra special. Highly recommended.

Had a great Sunday afternoon attending an event . The staff at the Duke of Wellington were exemplary . It was my young grandsons 1st Birthday . The food was superb - and the staff extremely careful regarding an egg allergy - this was very much appreciated . 10/10 Thank you so much.

Nice family Pub. The food was very reasonably priced, and the menu had a good selection. Our order arrived promptly and both meals were nice and hot. Staff are friendly and there's a large carpark with 1 blue badge space, please note, you will need to enter your registration into the machine as you enter the pub. The toilets were clean, but there was a large puddle under 1 of the urinals. I'm not sure if that was a leak or not 😬. I will return in the future as the food was good value for money. 👍🙂
