We were all shoe horned into a small area with countless others whilst constantly being jostled by others.
I have quite bad hip pain and this was very frustrating and painful.
There was a "VIP" area if you fancied paying over double the standard £10 per adult. I could barely afford the standard fee as is.
In previous years there was so much space without spending double!
The queues for food were so long pre fireworks, at least half an hour. The fireworks lasted barely 15 minutes if that.
I used to go to this display every year pre covid with family. Never going again.
Seems to be more emphasis on getting people to spend money on overpriced rides and games rather then seeing an amazing display.
The only only saving grace is that supposedly the ticket money went to charity.

Another resounding success. Good range of food and drink stalls. Well marshalled by the roundtable as usual. Good size VIP area. Music provided by Essex Radio. Display very good about 20 minutes long. Few hiccups with the accompanying music but it was the fireworks everyone was here for.

It was a very good event with good live music. The ticket money were raised for the local charities. The volunteers were friendly.Only thing which I didn't like about the location was in the portable loos there wasn't any light.

Was a fairly good atmosphere but the music during the firework display could have been better. It kept cutting out. Otherwise it was a really nice event and the display itself was really well done.
