Good place to visit for independent traders. The cheese stall is the best you will find, Household goods and ironmongery, flowers and plants, Italian bakery, natural whole foods, haberdashery, butcher, fruit and veg, yarn and a lot more. It's worth supporting small traders otherwise we will be left with chain stores and Amazon.

Everything you need under one roof. Support your local traders and also get value for money and better quality products. The butchers and greengrocers are excellent, and there's electrical/household/party/haberdashery supplies to name a few. There are also several lovely cafes/eateries to try.

It's OK for an I door market the surprise is there is some nice food shops especially the Thai bar and noodle shop. Small Caribbean food stall (have yet to try) a good butcher and a cheese stall. Pushing a wheelchair around is good so very accessible.

We love this place....sadly we have to travel by trains to get here.
We are NOT disappointed! There are lots on offer, reasonably priced in most places. And a great place to meet up!
It is full of history, a lovely cathedral with beautiful gardens to take a break in.
Many parks surround this City, with plenty to amuse the kids. In school holidays usually sommit going on in them, keep an eye out.

Great unique atmosphere. They removed the table tennis in order to have more free space. What a shame. But still great area to walk around
