Both my son and son in law recommended Chelmer Village Opticians and I would highly recommended them. I am very impressed with the service I received. I had a sight test, ordered new distance glasses as well as reading glasses and also contact lenses which will be posted to my home address. Staff are very friendly and my appointment was not rushed.

The best range of specs I've seen! Totally professional having a degenerate eye disease is worry free when you have such good professional care! The staff are extremely helpful and helped me choose my frames, which i absolutely love thank you!

I had dry eye treatment here back in January. I had been struggling to keep my eyes under control with just eye drops and the treatment totally sorted me out. It was very soothing and I would highly recommend. The service is second to none, I also had a prescription made up here and am so happy with my new glasses. Ray is absolutely fantastic, I cannot recommend enough.

Best service received. Asked the very friendly and professional staff to put my lenses in a frame I purchased, and not only did they manage to do this rather tricky job (half frame, different size thread etc.) the very next day, but they also very kindly adjusted both my glasses for a perfect fit. Highly recommended, really great price and really professional and friendly people. I know where I am going to by my and my family's glasses from. Top job!

Amazing service. Phoned with a quick issue and the team immediately said to pop down, I was swiftly seen and put at ease by the friendly open service. They checked over my eyes, provided reassurance of what was going on and recommendations for next steps. Left feeling completely at ease and confident. Thank you!
