We went in today, and they managed to fix my wife’s glasses within 10 minutes when other companies could not. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, ensuring we felt well taken care of from the moment we walked in. The service was first class, and we will 100% be going back. Thank you!

Popped into Boatman’s to get my glasses fixed.
Lost screw on one of the arms.
Hayley served me and replaced with a new screw took 5 mins no charge.

Boatmans opticians staff in Chelmsford are always super helpful and friendly. I have been using them for tests and glasses for years. Nothing seems too much trouble even just tiny repairs on my sunglasses. Lovely customer service and good selection of frames. Highly recommend.

Recently came in to enquire about an appointment & the receptionist (I think her name was Hayley) was extremely welcoming & helpful! I’ll be coming back to set up an appointment after my vacation, you don’t often come by receptionists that actually care enough to provide you with a positive experience so Kudos to her.

Optician was pleasant enough. However, the receptionist not so much. I asked for my prescription which Opticians are legally obliged to give to their customer. It seemed to be an issue, the printer all of a sudden wasn't working. Then the Optician was busy and couldn't sign it. Receptionist said with a smile/smirk said she would email it to me in the evening! I walked out not impressed and knowing that I wouldn't get it, guess what I didn't get it!!! Not impressed, I would like my prescription and I will Not be going back, and I won't be recommending them either. I think the receptionist needs to go on a Customer Care training course. Never have I left an opticians without my prescription!!!!!!!
