I was, and still am, a dental phobic. Having not been to a dentist for over 35 years, I found myself having to, excuse the pun, bite the bullet and see a dentist. Using a website for scardey cats like me, I found that Dr. Andrew Moore was the nearest dentist to me who dealt with dental phobics. He was great from the start. He looked in my mouth and persuaded me to have an x-ray done. All pretty straight forward. Then spoke to me about what needed to be done. I needed two back teeth extracted and we agreed for these to be replaced by implants. He gently directed me through what would happen, including sedation to help with my phobia. It took a long time, about a year all in all, but I now have smile, not quite of Hollywood standards, but I'm very pleased with it. All of the staff, including the receptionists, the dental nurses and Pascal, the anesthetist were really professional but also kind and understanding. So, if you are like me, scared stiff if dentists, I can thoroughly reccomended this lot. I'd had given them more than 5 stars if I could!

Put your hand up if you can fall asleep during root canal treatment 🙋♂️ Yep you read that correctly.
I joined this place a few months ago after searching for the best dental practice in Chelmsford. This was top of the list. I've had trouble with my teeth ever since I was a child, bad experiences back then developed into bad anxiety now. I let my teeth degrade so much, I had teeth missing, numerous root canal treatments, bad filings, grinding them down...you name it i had it. So, knowing I needed to get them sorted out I went to this place full of apprehension.
From the moment I walked in, meeting the reception staff and having my first consultation with James I immediately felt comfortable. James advised that I had a session with Sunny, whom then devised a treatment plan to get everything sorted out. Over the course of the past few months, I've seen Sunny for composite bonding and bridge work. He's built my teeth back up to something absolutely incredible. I can smile without any gaps! I actually think he's an artist rather than a dentist! Last week I went to see James for a root canal. Ive had lots of dreaded root canal treatments but this was the best I've ever experienced..hence my opening statement. At one point, I actually fell asleep (not sure if I snored) whilst James was needle deep in one of my roots...I didn't feel a thing. It was staggering.
Everyone I've encountered there from the dentists, nursing, and reception staff...they are all lovely. And make you feel so at ease. I couldn't recommend them enough.

I have been attending this practice since 2008 and am impressed by the professionalism of all the staff. I really appreciate how kind, caring and helpful they all are. My dentist, Vaselia is the best dentist I have ever encountered. I am not the easiest of patients in terms of my nervousness/dental anxiety but she always puts me at ease and talks me through the procedure. I recently had a dental implant and I am delighted with the result.

A couple of months ago I was recommended to join this practice after being let down by the private service at another dental clinic. I met Mo the first time. Explained my concerns. He put together a programme of what treatment that could be done. Options were also included. The whole staff including the dental nurse were lovely. I knew I was in a very professional and caring clinic. Most staff have worked there for many years too. I then saw James on the second appointment who carried out my root canal. I felt that relaxed I almost fell asleep. The procedure went well and then onto my next appointment with was for a hygiene clean.
First time attending for a hygiene appointment. Met Lorna. Lovely lady. Very caring, reassuring throughout the cleaning process. Left with a very happy smile and wonderfully clean, polished and shiny teeth.
I may yet have to return to complete the whole process depending on how my root canal settles. Other than that if all succeeds I will return for regular 6-12 months check ups and a hygiene clean annually.
Thank you to the whole team. Very impressed. Would highly recommend.
