Nice little place, nothing special but has everything you need and expect from a more budget type hotel accommodation. Clean and tidy room, TV, tea and coffee facilities, on-suite bathroom and an average breakfast selection. Parking could an issue, depends what time of day you get there. Short walk to Chelmsford centre and very close to a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again.
Amazing, rooms you cannot fault them, the bed was so comfy and the hospitality was lovely, breakfast was another bonus as there was so much choice; cereal to full English (cooked to perfection), yogurts&fruit. I would 110% come back and stay again ❤
Absolutely fantastic price backed up with fantastic service. Breakfast was really good and sue was lovely who runs it. I could not recommend this hotel enough for the value of £40 per night with a en suite aswell.
Spacious rooms, clean and organized. Great breakfast and the owner is lovely. I'm so happy I found the Chelmers Hotel and will be staying again.
I've stayed here a few times now, a very reasonable price for what you are getting. Always clean, and has a homely feel to it, would recommend trying here out
