We visited Zukoa Chelmsford last Monday afternoon for a family dinner. We chose to dine at 5 pm on a weekday to avoid the crowd. One thing worth noting—if you keep your receipt, you can claim either 20% or 25% off your total bill on your next Monday visit. Unfortunately, I forgot to keep mine last time, so I missed out on the discount! But this time, I’ve held onto it and will definitely be claiming it next time.
As for the food, we ordered the steak since I had it on my last visit and really enjoyed it. Based on that, I recommended it to my husband and friend. However, this time, it was just okay. We asked for medium, but it looked more like well-done, and some parts were quite tough to chew and outside was burnt as you can see in the photos attached . A bit disappointing compared to my previous experience.
That said, the prawn cocktail and the drinks were great as always! Their cocktails never disappoint, and the prawn cocktail was fresh and flavourful.
Overall, I’d give Zukoa 4 stars—the food and drinks are generally good, but I had to knock off a star for the steak. Hopefully, it’ll be better next time!

My wife and I have visited Zukoa three times over the past couple of weeks, and each experience has been excellent. From our first visit, it was clear that this is a place where food is made with care and passion.
On our first visit, we ordered from the main menu and enjoyed a variety of cocktails alongside our meals. I had the beef burger, and my wife opted for the vegetarian burger—both were fantastic. We then decided to try the oysters, which were as fresh as they come.
Impressed by our first experience, we returned for a Sunday roast. I had the beef roast, and my wife had the vegetarian option. If we thought our first meal was great, this was even better. The roast was cooked to perfection, and my wife was particularly impressed by the quality and thought put into the vegetarian option.
Our third visit was for breakfast, and once again, it did not disappoint. I had a classic breakfast, while my wife went for another vegetarian option. Both were cooked perfectly, rounding off another great experience at Zukoa.
One of the standout aspects of Zukoa is the impressive vegetarian selection. My wife was genuinely pleased with the variety and quality of options available to her, which is not always easy to find. As for me, every dish I had was superb—flavourful, well-prepared, and clearly made by someone who loves cooking.
We’ll definitely be returning, and I would highly recommend Zukoa to anyone looking for quality food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The training organizer arranges our dinner here on the 1st floor. . Everyone said a bit confused about finding the location. I need to walk a bit from the car park.
The place is beautiful, decorated with artificial flowers. The bar counter also looks beautiful. The barlady is also cool.
I had sate noodle and it was delicious. My friend had chicken and the portion was generous.
As this is dinner with a group of 30 ppl ish then the staff do not really serve us rather than bring food to the table.

We visited during a weekly day for Lunch time. So it wasn't crowded. Food quality is absolutely fresh and perfectly shown. The layout of the entire house is very well looked after. We asked for seafood cocktails and cheese balls. Salmon was fresh and tasty served. The cocktail glass was too high if you are sitting on one of the sofas and try to achieve the top of the cup, so I suggest to have a short version of cups for that cocktail.
